And I'll jump right into a subject I will rarely talk about--politics. Election day has finally come and gone, and I couldn't be happier. Not because of the results, they're all a bunch of slimebags and I am convinced that it makes absolutely no difference who is in office at any level. But because it means that the mudslinging TV commercials are gone and I won't be coming home and finding political messages on my voicemail and six pieces of mail telling me what an evil person Lee Terry is.
And no more political signs...what a waste of paper and wood...what kind of tool votes for a candidate because he saw 27 of their signs lined up in the median of west Q street? All the aforementioned crap should be banned and people should be forced to either watch actual political debates or...*gasp*...research the candidates and their stand on the issues. This current dog and pony show is nothing but a waste of time, money, and other resources.
